Before & After School Care

Working parents can count on Discovery Point to provide their children with a safe, fun and educational experience before and after elementary school.

Tailored to the interests and needs of school-age children, our Before & After School Programs feature lower teacher-child ratios and a wide variety of engaging, age-appropriate activities. Children can play with friends, receive homework assistance, use computers under supervision, or just relax with a book.

School-age classrooms include a private bathroom, and a separate playground for school-age children provides safe climbing, riding and game-related activities to encourage the development of social and gross motor skills.

Safe, state-approved and inspected buses transport children to selected public schools, field trips and summer camp activities.

• Low teacher-child ratios ensure every child is given affection, approval and attention.
• Each classroom offers a wide variety of engaging, developmentally age appropriate activities, including toys, games, equipment and craft materials.
• Each classroom has center-based areas allowing for exploration in dramatic play, art, science and reading.
