VPK in Land O’ Lakes
Discovery Point Terra Bella is pleased to participate in the state of Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK). Children in Land O’ Lakes and throughout the community can access our outstanding program, regardless of parental income. We provide children an active, engaged, and fun environment that promotes a love of learning. We partner with the parents of our students so we can engage children in ways that spark their curiosity.

Objectives of Our VPK Program in Land O’ Lakes
The main goal of our VPK program is to help Land O’ Lakes area children prepare for the transition to kindergarten. We take a comprehensive approach to learning, focusing on the whole child so they succeed in life as well as school.

- Improve fine motor skills by providing plenty of outdoor play and physical activities

- Use dramatic play, music, and conversation to further develop language skills
