Take Advantage of Weekly Optional Activities

As part of our dedication to the children we care for, our team at Discovery Point of Zoar Rd. is committed to providing optional activity elections for the children at our center. Some of these are offered on-site, while others may be at a different location complete with transportation. Here is a list of the activities we offer and how your child can benefit.

Piano Keyboard Lessons

This program is offered on-site on Monday at 4:30 P.M. It is reserved for children between the ages of 3 and 12. The $10 weekly fee covers the entire lesson and all included equipment. These classes are split into two groups with each one receiving 30 minute lessons to ensure that children receive individual attention.

Soccer Clinic

Our soccer clinic is taught by a former soccer player, ensuring that your child will receive great instruction. This is an on-site course for $10 weekly and includes a 40 minute skill training three days a week.

Younger Groups

Younger students ages 3 and 4 can enroll in morning classes for ballet or tumbling. We work with Georgia Stars Academy of Dance who brings a portable balance bar for the ballet class and all the necessary tumbling equipment.

We have off-site activities conducted at George Stars Academy of Dance, so these are set for children ages 5 and up who receive permission for transportation. Consistent attendance is necessary for these courses which include boys’ hip hop or karate and girls’ hip hop, cheerleading, or tumbling.
