Summer Camp in Milton: Go for the Gold!

With summer just around the corner, it’s time to get your child’s care arranged. At Discovery Point Midway, we are gearing up for our 2020 summer camp. Children in the Milton, GA area will have the opportunity to “Go for the Gold” during our 12-week program that combines learning and fun!

About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Milton

This year, we were inspired by the upcoming Summer Olympics in Japan and decided on our overall “Go for the Gold” theme. Not only will we be learning about the history of the Olympics and building excitement for them, but we will also be inspiring confidence and perseverance among our students. Our summer camp is a great environment for children to learn new skills and embrace their natural curiosity.

Our summer camp is more than just fun and games. We also incorporate plenty of educational content into our weekly units and activities. Our instructors will introduce a new unit each week that keeps with our golden theme. Students will embark on a journey, learning about everything from the Gold Coast of Australia to Egyptian gold in the pyramids. Each unit will inspire coordinating literature selections, as well as applications involving science, math, history, and drama.

During our summer program, your child will have the opportunity to maintain the skills they have already learned in school and expand on them. Our educational content and fun activities help students prepare for the next school year while also having fun, interacting with their peers, and making plenty of memories.
