About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Riverview

We are excited to announce the theme of our 2020 summer camp: “Go for the Gold!” Drawing inspiration from this year’s Summer Olympics, we have created a well-rounded program that combines fun, hands-on activities, and educational lessons. With our curriculum and Go for the Gold theme, we hope to inspire self-confidence and perseverance in our students.

To keep excitement high, we introduce a new unit each week. Our students will be on an adventure, learning about everything from the Gold Coast of Australia to the Olympic gold medals! Each week will focus on a new “gold” motif that will tie back into our main “Go for the Gold” theme.

Our camp is focused on education just as much as it is focused on fun! Our team recognizes the importance of learning and retaining skills during the summer months. That’s why we incorporate literacy-rich content, as well as concepts from science, math, drama, and art.

We make learning fun by giving children plenty of activities so they get hands-on practice with the concepts they have covered. Here are some examples of the activities our instructors use in each weekly unit:

• Cooking projects
• Science experiments
• Field trips to local attractions, historical sites, and museums
• Educational talks from guest speakers
• Fun competitions
• Physical fitness activities
• Riddles, games, and puzzles
• Drama scenarios
• Arts and crafts projects
