“Go for the Gold” at Our Summer Camp in Land O’ Lakes

At Discovery Point Suncoast Crossings, we are gearing up for our 2020 summer camp! Inspired by the Summer Olympics in Japan this year, we have plenty of fun activities and educational lessons in store for our campers. Our program is a great way for children in the Land O’ Lakes, FL area to spend their break from school.

What’s in Store for Our Summer Camp in Land O’ Lakes?

This year, we are encouraging our students to “go for the gold” as we gain excitement for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Our instructors will use this excitement to inspire confidence in our students and teach them the value of hard work and perseverance. Just as the athletes are preparing for the Olympic games, we’ll be preparing your child for their next year in school.

Incorporating plenty of hands-on activities into our summer camp helps children stay engaged and involved throughout the 12 weeks. Here are some of the activities we have planned:

Our camp is more than just fun and games. Worked into our weekly units and activities are plenty of educational lessons that will benefit your child. At Discovery Point Suncoast Crossings, we value literacy among school-aged children, which is why we have a selected literature reading for each week of our camp. From there, we include lessons in math, science, art, history, and drama to keep our curriculum well-rounded.
