About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Covington

Drawing inspiration from the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, we decided to “Go for the Gold” this year! Our 10-week summer camp helps school-aged children have a constructive summer with plenty of educational and fun content. Each week will have a unique focus, helping the children stay engaged and excited. Our weekly units can range from the California Gold Rush to the Olympic gold medals!

We like to use tons of hands-on activities to make our educational units fun! Here are some examples of the activities we do:

• Cooking projects
• Dynamic science experiments
• Field trips to local attractions
• Physical fitness competitions
• Arts and crafts projects
• Educational talks from guest speakers
• Puzzles and games
• Team building activities

It’s not all about the fun and games at our summer camp. Our instructors build plenty of educational content into the above activities, focusing primarily on literature with themed readings and topics. We also like to incorporate science, math, history, art, and drama lessons for a well-rounded experience.

With each day at our summer camp, we instill valuable lifelong skills in our students. Our “Go for the Gold” theme will help us to encourage confidence in your child, as well as teach them the value of hard work and perseverance to reach their goals in life.
