Summer Camp Karate Classes

Discovery Point Lexington Oaks Summer Camp 2014 is excited to announce our partnership with Keiko Shin Karate Academy in Seven Oaks. Our school age campers will be participating in weekly karate classes throughout the summer. Keiko Shin Karate Academy offers a small group atmosphere that encourages fun, fitness and friendships while instilling self – control, discipline and respect.

The children will be instructed from Sensei Ernesto Fuentes and Sensei Alex Fuentes in the art of Shotokan karate including learning self-defense, stranger threat techniques and how to avoid lures that are essential for children to know. Sensei Ernesto has been working on this topic for over 5 years in connection with the Tampa Police Department.
