Finding Infant Care in Buford and Preparing for Going Back to Work

Going back to work after maternity leave can be an emotional and stressful time. Our infant care in Buford is designed to bring you balance and peace of mind. We understand how important quality child care is, and we are proud to support career-focused parents in our community.

Our infant care program will act as your child’s home away from home. We host our program in safe and open classrooms that are filled with inspirational and educational elements. Our program also combines comprehensive care with our educational approach to meet all of your child’s needs.

You can expect the following from our infant program:

  • Daily updates on feedings, naps, and diaper changes
  • Storage space for your child’s supplies
  • Teachers trained in early childhood education
  • Opportunities for physical, social, and intellectual development
  • Age-appropriate materials and toys
  • Highchairs and cribs in the classrooms

3 Tips for Going Back to Work

Having quality childcare in place will bring you peace of mind as you return to work. However, balancing your career with other duties can be stressful. To make the return to work a little easier, we encourage you to try things like:

  • Creating a routine. Infants enjoy following a routine. Having one in place for workdays will help them know what to expect.
  • Preparing for pumping. If you are breastfeeding or exclusively pumping, you’ll need to fit pumping into your daily routine. Talk with your boss about creating a schedule and space for pumping at work.
  • Asking for flexibility. Working on a flexible schedule at first can help make your transition less stressful. If possible, work from home to ease back into your old routine.
