Prepare Your Children for School with Our VPK Program in Spring Hill

At Discovery Point Seven Hills, we can help your child embark on a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten with Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program, also known as VPK. This program is a free educational program that prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond.

Our aim is to prepare young learners in Spring Hill for school in a way that enables them to develop a lifelong love of learning. In addition to helping children between the ages of four and five hone in on crucial social and academic skills, our child care professionals also provide them with the nurturing care they deserve.

What to Expect From Our VPK Program

Our VPK curriculum focuses on multiple areas of learning and growth to assist children with balanced development. Through this comprehensive approach to education, our students are able to benefit from the integration of their minds and bodies and the incorporation of fun with the learning process.

Objectives of Our VPK Program

Since our goal is to prepare children for the academic environment they will face when they enter school, we maintain a strong focus on helping students develop strong problem solving, reading, and social skills. By preparing them for academic success, we help them have the confidence they need to succeed in their future pursuits, both in school and in life.

Our teachers have been trained in Early Childhood Education and understand the importance of balancing guided learning with student-driven experiences that enable children to follow their natural curiosity. We always maintain the proper student-teacher ratios, which means your child can look forward to receiving individualized care and nurturing support in addition to plenty of opportunities for self-initiated discovery.
