About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Acworth

Summer is a time for fun, but it can also be a time for learning! Our summer camp incorporates plenty of fun activities and educational lessons to keep the program well-rounded and comprehensive.

There will be a new unit each week, keeping with our “Go for the Gold” theme. You can expect units based on Egyptian gold, buried treasure, and even the gold medals of the upcoming Summer Olympics. Read on for more information about our plans for this summer!

All of the above activities tie into our lessons, which makes learning fun! We like to focus largely on literacy, helping our students build their reading and comprehension skills. However, we do include other subject areas in our lessons as well, including drama, science, math, and art. Our instructors are trained in early childhood education and know how to keep their students engaged and excited about learning during the summer months.

Summer is also a great time to enjoy nature. We have plenty of outdoor and physical fitness activities planned, so your child can expend their energy in a healthy way. Our activities also encourage students to be confident in themselves, as well as build friendships and work together with their peers.
