At Discovery Point, we take pride in being at the forefront of child care. Our goal is to redefine daycare for our families and the children in our care. Our dedicated caregivers are not simply spending the day with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children; they are providing the formative educational experiences that will shape the way these young minds address the rest of their academic careers. Our early childhood teachers implement research-based curriculum and a child-centered instructional approach for every age and stage of development — it is not simply “daycare.”

Meet the Owner
Discovery Point Towne Lake
Cindee George opened Discovery Point in Towne Lake 24 years ago. She is an experienced early childhood educator and has a Masters Degree in Public Health from Emory University School of Medicine. Before opening Discovery Point she conducted research programs for public health government agencies. She has traveled worldwide and has visited schools in China, India, and South Africa. She is committed to providing a safe, emotionally supportive environment to foster a child’s positive self-concept by encouraging cooperative learning, playing, problem solving and responsibility. Her focus is to ensure a balanced educational and social skills foundation to enhance their developmental progress.
