Thoughts on Our Daycare Franchise from Our Franchisees

According to Gregory Burdett, owner of Discovery Point Zoar Road, the fact that he would be receiving hands-on support as a business owner was one of the most important factors in his decision to become a franchisee with Discovery Point. “We were looking for places that offered us support and resources,” he explains. “We looked at other franchises and we settled on Discovery Point specifically because we felt supported from the minute we got there.”

Michelle Malizioso, the owner of Discovery Point Howell Ferry, touches on this when she says that becoming a Discovery Point owner “seemed like the perfect opportunity to utilize my passion for working with children and families and also my business expertise.” Malizioso goes on to explain why she loves being able to personalize how her center is run: “Every activity that we do, we get to plan, so it’s exciting… We can impact the lesson plans and what the children are learning every day,” which enables her to stay hands-on and engaged with her students.

Joy-Filled Work Days

Our daycare franchise locations are operated by enthusiastic entrepreneurs who are excited to get to work with children and families on a daily basis. Robbin Plesher, owner of Discovery Point Jones Bridge, sums it up nicely when she says, “My days are spent encouraging children’s love of learning. It doesn’t get any better than that!”

Yvette, from Discovery Point Roswell, also explains how her love of working with children provides her with a sense of satisfaction that simply doesn’t come with work in other industries: “The hugs, kisses, and excitement that children display brings me true joy. I also feel satisfaction as I am providing them a safe, fun, and educational center to be in while mom and dad are at work.” Michelle, from Discovery Point Howell Ferry, agrees: “I don’t think that there’s any other job where you can walk out of the door and have a day full of hugs and smiles and laughter.”
