This year, Discovery Point Fayetteville is giving local children the opportunity to “Go for the Gold!” Our summer camp offers a fun and educational way for children in Fayetteville to spend their summer break. About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Fayetteville

This year’s theme was born from inspiration of the Summer Olympics. Our camp uses fun activities and educational content to present a well-rounded program for school-aged children. Each week will feature a new topic, including fun themes like buried treasure, Egyptian gold in the pyramids, the California Gold Rush, and, of course, the Olympic gold medals!

All of our weekly units include plenty of educational content. We cover a range of subjects, including science, math, art, and drama. Our instructors also focus on a literacy-rich teaching style, promoting language development and comprehension.

In addition to our educational lessons, we also incorporate plenty of activities* to make our summer camp fun! Here are some of the activities we like to do:

• Educational talks from guest speakers
• Fun competitions
• Puzzles, games, and riddles
