With the Summer Olympics coming up, we have built a program with the perfect blend of activity, learning, and fun – all with a golden theme.

About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Roswell

At Discovery Point Roswell, we like to keep the fun going all summer long! We have broken our sumer camp theme into weekly units, all with a unique focus. Our students can look forward to lessons about Egyptian gold in the pyramids, the Gold Coast of Australia, and, of course, the Olympic gold medals! A new adventure each week keeps children engaged and excited about learning all summer long.

There are plenty of activities to be excited about at our summer camp including:

• Physical fitness challenges
• Team building activities

To help our students have a well-rounded summer camp experience, we incorporate educational content into our weekly units and activities. Weekly readings from children’s literature help to promote literacy and comprehension skills. We also use a variety of STEAM content to make sure all subject areas are included.

On top of our fun and educational atmosphere, we’ve created an inspiring environment for children. With this years “Go for the Gold” theme, we will be encouraging campers to be self-confident, as well as teaching them about setting goals and persevering until they reach them.
