Meet the Team
The management team of Discovery Point Silverthorn consists of the two co-owners Tim Sabba and Cary O’Donnell, plus the Center Director Jill Tremblay, and Assistant Center Director Candice Packard. The owner’s split their time between their two centers in Spring Hill, Discovery Point Silverthorn and Discovery Point Seven Hills, so that both centers have an owner-presence each day.
Ms. Jill Tremblay
Director
Our director is Jill Tremblay. She started her childcare career at Discovery Point Silverthorn in July 2008, when the center opened. Since then she has worked in Preschool One (P1), Beginner’s, and as the Summer Camp Coordinator before being promoted to Assistant Director in 2011.
She has her National Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), Director Credential with VPK Endorsement, and is also working on her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Jill also holds a CDL and can sometimes be seen driving one of our buses full of school-agers.
In February 2018 Jill earned a well-deserved promotion to Director when the previous director, Jen moved over to Discovery Point Seven Hills.
Jill and her husband Jason are the proud parents of three children, Mackenzie, Korsan, and Emery.
Ms. Candice Packard
Assistant Director
Our Assistant Director is Candice Packard. She has been working in childcare for since 2007. She has an Associate Degree, National Child Development Associate Credential, and a Director Credential and is currently working on her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
Candice has been with Discovery Point since March 2012. She taught VPK for six years before being promoted to Assistant Director. Mrs. Candice overlooks the curriculum in all classrooms and provides daily staff and parent support.
Candice and her husband Jason are the proud parents of three, Riley, Bentley, and Colton.
Our Staff
Our staff are dedicated to providing a safe, loving and educational environment for your children. All of our staff are CPR and First Aid certified and are required to take 24 hours of continuing education courses per year. Many of our staff members hold a Staff Credential, Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree and or a CDA.
