With spring upon us, it’s time to start thinking about your child’s summer activities. Discovery Point Suwanee is excited to announce our 2020 summer camp! This 12-week program is a great way for children in the Johns Creek, GA area to spend their summer vacation from school. Keep reading below to see how we are “Going for the Gold” this year.

About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Johns Creek

By enrolling your child in our summer camp, you can expect a fun-filled and educational way for them to spend the summer months. This year’s theme, “Go for the Gold,” will help our instructors inspire confidence and teach the value of hard work to our students. Our overall goal is to keep children ready to embark on their next school year with ease.

As with all of our programs, we bring an educational focus to our summer camp. Our instructors use literature selections to instill literacy and comprehension skills in our students, which will then lead them into other subject areas. We like to keep our curriculum well-rounded with science, technology, art, math, and drama content. In addition to our educational lessons, we use plenty of activities to keep your child engaged and help them apply what they’ve learned.

We keep our camp exciting by leading our students on a new adventure each week. Over the 12 weeks, we will embark on a golden learning journey across the world. A new unit every week will allow students to learn about the California Gold Rush, buried treasure, Egyptian gold in the pyramids, and of course, the Olympic gold in Japan!
