About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Trinity

This year’s “go for the gold” theme was inspired by the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan! We’re using this theme to encourage confidence and teach the importance of hard work to our students. Each week, our campers will set out on a new journey with a unique unit. We will be exploring everything from the Egyptian gold in the pyramids to the Gold Coast of Australia. Our 12-week program will lead us right to the Olympic games and gold medals!

At Discovery Point Trinity, we bring educational child care to our community. Each weekly unit in our summer camp will lead us into according lessons and activities. We will start with a selected literature reading, promoting literacy and comprehension in our school-aged students.

To keep our program well-rounded, we incorporate plenty of other subject areas and STEAM activities. Our camp helps children maintain their existing knowledge and skills, while building on them with our lessons. Our wide variety of hands-on activities help children apply and practice what they’ve learned during camp. Listed below are some of the activities we include in each weekly unit:
