Summer Camp in Centerville: Go for the Gold!

Before you know it, your child will be out of school with the entire summer before them. To give them a medal-worthy break from school, consider our summer camp in Centerville, GA. This year at Discovery Point Zoar Rd., we’re going for the gold with plenty of exciting lessons and activities in store!

About Our 2020 Summer Camp in Centerville

This year’s theme is based on the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan. Each week, our students will get to enjoy a new unit that has a golden theme. We will be exploring the California Gold Rush, the Gold Coast of Australia, and ending in Japan for the Olympic gold! These weekly units help keep our students engaged and excited about learning all summer long.

Our goal is to bring an educational approach to our fun summer camp. Each weekly unit will focus on a new literature selection, promoting literacy and comprehension in our students. The lessons will be rounded out by adding in science, math, drama, and history content.

All our educational content is built into fun and interactive sessions, giving each child the opportunity to learn in a hands-on and visual way. Here are some of the activities we incorporate into our units:
